WWE Clash at the Castle, the first post-SummerSlam special, will be presented on Saturday, September 3rd. Without a doubt, the company’s Premium Live event will be historic for several reasons. One of them is the place, where it will be held outside the United States: in the city of Cardiff, in Wales, at the Principality Stadium.
The wrestling entertainment company is returning to the UK for the first time in 30 years. SummerSlamm was last seen in 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London. Likewise, it will be the first special live event without Vince McMahon as WWE President and CEO.
Around the event, Scottish-born (near Wales) Drew McIntyre will seek to snatch the undisputed college championship from the Roman era. There will also be two historic appearances as WWE Hall of Fame member Edga and Rey Mysterio take on Finn Bálor (another Briton) and a Damian priest.
