With regard to Turkey, this country has raised bilateral relations with Colombia to a degree “Strategic Ally”, Emphasizing the business sectors’ interest in increasing their presence in the country and making investments of more than $200 million.
As for the United Kingdom, Colombia has formalized with the British authorities the file Free Trade Agreement.
In this regard, Duque said he believes that “The overall balance of this whole process was, first, the continued progress of the UK’s investment in our country. There was a very specific message, that there was already over $400 million of investment coming in very soon.“.

Concluding his speech on his participation in the World Economic Forum, Duque said:The result is the strengthening of relations with other governments, and the interest of many companies that have participated in the materialization of investments in renewable energies, in the sectors of hotels, metalworking and concessions.“.
