Scheduled for October 29-31, it will be a tribute to all the cycling groups in the Balearic Islands.
In a statement, the organization explained that the Volta Cicloturista a Menorca is considered “the last great romantic event that exists in the world of cycling throughout Spain.”
Among the more than 300 registered, there will be participants from Catalonia, Castilla, Lyon, the Basque Country and the United Kingdom, which already has forty runners.
The event director, Arturo Sintes, highlighted the interest that the Volta is generating. “We have been surprised not only by the response but by the number of messages we receive congratulating us on getting the test back, after a year without it due to the COVID-19 health crisis,” he said.
In the female category, the organization reviewed high participation, with over forty registered runners.
In addition, among the guests, Movistar cyclist Albert Torres and Mallorcan Mavi GarcĂa, former professional cyclist Tony Collum and sports journalist Ainara Hernando confirmed their presence.
