All this happened in December last year, when Kelly, a 22-year-old sports coach, was planning to travel to Spain, although she had previously gone, due to some pain, to the hospital in New Ferry, UK. At first, the tests showed no danger, but as the days passed, the symptoms became more severe and worsening. Soon, he began to feel pulsations and pressure in his head.
The specialists had prescribed migraine medications. She attributed these symptoms to exhaustion and decided to go on a five-day trip to distract herself and thus seek luxury and recovery.
While on vacation, her doctor called to tell her she needed to have a CT scan ASAP. Upon her return, she was hospitalized and diagnosed with a brain tumour. Two days before Christmas, the doctors operated on her.
The surgical intervention was successful and they were able to remove 95% of the tumor, but the woman is still under observation because there is a 14% chance of her return, according to what she told local media, The Mirror.
Now, the young woman seeks to raise awareness among the population about this disease and recommends turning to specialists if they feel something is wrong.
