The good business climate that Paraguay offers is a great attraction that encourages other countries to explore the investment potential that can occur in various sectors of the local economy. Such is the case of Great Britain, which meets, through a private delegation, with representatives of the public and private sectors with a view to future projects.
Jonathan Knott, UK Trade Commissioner for Latin America and the Caribbean, commented that although there is currently significant trade between the two countries, there is an interesting growth opportunity that could benefit both economies.
“We want to identify the most promising sectors and then explain them to British entrepreneurs so that they can consider developing projects in Paraguay. We see opportunities in the green energy sector, technology in agriculture and health, as well as in infrastructure,” he said in an interview with 5Días Televisión.
