Investing.com – British shares fell at close on Monday; Sector drop, pushing indices down.

Among the leading stocks of the day on the day were GMK Norilskiy Nikel PAO DRC (LON :), whose value rose 3.49%, or 1.10 points, and traded at 32.60 at the close. Followed by Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LON 🙂 which advanced 2.62%, 1.14 points, to close at 44.39, and Admiral Group PLC (LON :), which rose 1.71% or 54.0 points, ended the session at 3,204.0.
At the bottom of the index was Tui AG (LON 🙂 which fell 4.34%, or 16.90 points, to close at 372.10. Meanwhile, EasyJet PLC (LON 🙂 shares declined 3.87%, 37.60 points, and closed at 935.20, while Carnival PLC (LON 🙂 lost 3.29%, 57.2 points, to close at 1679.2 points.
The red numbers outnumbered the green numbers on the London Stock Exchange by a difference of 1,292 to 988, and 218 was constant.

Gold futures for June delivery fell 0.77%, or 13.50, to $ 1731.30 an ounce. Regarding other commodities, crude oil futures for May delivery rose 0.62% or $ 0.37 to settle at $ 59.69 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for June delivery rose 0.62%, or 0.37.48%, to $ 0.30 a barrel.
The GBP / USD was up 0.24% at 1.3741, while EUR / GBP was down 0.06% to 0.8668.
The dollar index fell 0.04% to 92.127.
