Investing.com – British shares fell on Tuesday; Decline in sectors, pushing indices down.
At the close in London, it lost 0.23%.
Best value for a session in Cannes HSBC Holdings PLC (LON) is up 4.21% or 17.30 points to 427.75 points at close. This is followed by Tui AG (LON 🙂 which advanced 4.05% or 14.00 points to close at 360.00, then Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (LON 🙂 which rose 3.96% 3 80 points until the close of the session. At 99.88.
Below the index was DS Smith PLC (LON :), which fell 4.12%, or 16.90 points, to close at 392.90. For its part, SSE PLC (LON 🙂 reduced 2.90%, 42.50 points, and closed at 1,420.50, while Report PLC (LON:) 2.58% lost 13.60 points to 514.40.
The Reds outperformed the green numbers on the London Stock Exchange by 1,318 versus 1029, 63 being flat.
Gold futures for April delivery fell 0.73%, or 13.35, to $ 1,809.85 an ounce. Regarding other commodities, crude oil futures for March delivery rebounded 0.47% or 0.28 to remain at $ 59.75 a barrel, while Brent crude oil futures for April delivery slipped 0.51%, $ 0.32, to $ 62.98 a barrel.
The GBP / USD was up 0.09% to 1.3915, while EUR / GBP was down 0.20% to 0.8703.
The dollar index rose 0.04% to 90.507.
