It was followed by Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (LON :), which advanced 2.35% or 2.04 points to close at 88.73, and Center PLC (LON 🙂 that rose 1.72% or 1.36 points to end the session at 80.54.
At the bottom of the index was Flutter Entertainment PLC (LON :), which fell 4.90%, or 478.00 points, to close at 9.00. national network PLC (LON 🙂 For its part, cut 4.27%, 50.00 points, and closed at 1.00, while St. James’s Place PLC (LON:): 3.59%, 46.50 points, until it finished at 1.00.
The Reds beat the Greens on the London Stock Exchange by 1059 to 729, with 501 closing flat.

Gold futures for August delivery were up 0.21%, or 3.80, at $1.00 an ounce. Among other commodities, crude oil futures for July delivery rose 2.05%, or $2.35, to settle at $117.02 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for August delivery rose 2.00%, or $2.31, to $117.91 a barrel.
GBP/USD fell 0.95% to 1.25, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.15% to 0.85.
The dollar index rose 0.83% to 102.61.
