Investing.com – British shares closed lower on Monday; The decline in , sectors pushed the indices down.

At the close in London it fell 0.43%.

The best value for the session was AstraZeneca PLC (LON:), up 3.96%, 349.0 points, to settle at 9,150.0 at the close. follow him Hargreaves Lansdown PLC (LON :), which advanced 1.60% or 20.50 points to close at 1,298.00, and Frenelo PLC (LON 🙂 that rose 1.60% or 11.00 points, to end the session at 696.80.

Gold futures for April delivery were up 0.07%, or 1.25, at $1,901.05 an ounce. Among other commodities, crude oil futures for April delivery rose 2.19%, or $1.98, to settle at $92.19 a barrel, while Brent crude futures for May delivery rose 2.30%, or 2.10, to $93.49 a barrel.
