Investing.com – The UK Stock Exchange closed higher on Tuesday; Sector gains, indexes lead higher.

The GBP / USD was up 0.54% to 1.3898, while EUR / GBP was down 0.05% to 0.8560.
The dollar index fell 0.38% to 91.980.
