The Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (UATx), through the Faculty of Sciences for Human Development, has accreditation certificates for degrees in Gerontology Pedagogy and re-accreditation of degrees in Special Education and Family Sciences, by the AC Pedagogy Evaluation Commission. and Education Programs (CEPE), which has been added to a selection of 69 educational programs that have implemented this measure, out of 1,500 existing in the country.
Speaking, Professor Diana Celine Avila Casco, Secretary of University Counseling and Cultural Outreach, Representing Dr. Serafín Ortiz-Ortiz, Rector of UATx, highlighted the coordinated work and solidarity of the academic community of the College in order to advance this goal, strengthening this educational offer as a platform for the application of the holistic humanistic model of Over Capacity (MHIC).
He emphasized that the highest institution of studies in the entity is committed to the activities that are carried out to accredit its degrees, since the goal is to provide quality training for our students, and therefore for the whole community, i.e. the projects of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala as a joint community for the development of projects that promote work and continuous improvement as a daily practice.
Meanwhile, Dr. Benito Guillen Niemeyer, President of CEPE, noted that the UATx community celebrates this fact of receiving accreditation and re-accreditation successively, a fact that should be a celebration for the institution, as the country has nearly 1,500 programs offered in the country. This field, however, only 69 have this quality recognition, and this is a privilege of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala.
He stressed that the General Law on Higher Education creates a system to promote accreditation at the national level, so this must be an achievement that demonstrates interest in academic excellence in UATx, because assessments include researchers, teachers, students and administrative staff. and photo.
In turn, Dr. Jose Antonio Camacho Candia, Director of the College of Sciences for Human Development, stated that the mission of this university is to enhance capabilities and potentials that turn young people into flexible and creative professionals to work in the fields of diversity. and multiculturalism, characteristics that encourage our students to prepare in a critical, reflective, positive, and innovative environment.
