Typhlosion for Hisui on Raid Day in Pokémon Go: Shiny Start, Reward, and More

Here's a look at what Pokémon Go players can expect from Hisui's upcoming Typhlosion Raid Day, including event dates and times, as well as rewards.

Niantic recently gave Pokémon Go players the opportunity to obtain a fully evolved Pokémon Legends: Arceus as part of special Raid Days.

Hisui's Samurott was available as part of Raid Day in December 2023. Now it's Typhlosion's alternate form. This Fire/Ghost-type Pokémon will be available at Pokémon Go Raid Day in January 2024.

Here's what coaches can expect from the upcoming event.

Date and time of day of the Typhoon Hisui strike

Hisui's Typhlosion's Pokémon Go Raid Day event will take place on January 14, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

This event will mark the first appearance of the Hisui version of Typhlosion in Pokemon Go's Three-Star Raids.

The event will also mark the first appearance of the shiny Hisui Typhlosion in Pokémon Go.

The creature, which originally appeared in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, is one of two regional versions of Typhlosion. Previously, only the second generation version of Typhlosion was available as Shiny.

Typhlosion raid day event reward for Hisui

These are the rewards that will be available to trainers during the event:

• Increases the chance of encountering Bright Hurricane Hisui, which will appear frequently in raids.
• The remote raid limit will increase to 20 starting January 13, 2024, at 4:00 PM until January 14, 2024, at 7:00 PM PT.
• Get up to five additional free raid passes from Spinning Gym photo discs

Additionally, you can purchase a special ticket to the event for $5 or the local equivalent in your country.

Rewards will be available from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time on the day of the event. This includes eight additional Raid Passes to spin gym discs and a higher chance of earning rare XL Candy in Raid Battles.
