Three popular New York locations top a list of more than 30,000 places ranked by Travellers’ Favorites on TripAdvisor: Central Park, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum, and the Empire State Building.

The Empire State Building, the world’s most famous skyscraper, dropped to number three from last year, when it topped the list of “Best things to do” for tourists, which also ranked Fourth place for the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegasisland Alcatraz in California (5) The sixth position belongs to Top of the Rock Observatory in New York.
They are followed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Line, the Golden Gate (San Francisco, California) and the Statue of Liberty at positions 7, 8, 9, and 10, respectively.
Travelers said about Central Park “It’s a popular place in New York and perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a huge park where there really is a lot to explore and see: Cleopatra’s Needle, Terraces and Fountain of Bethesda (one of the most beautiful parts of the park), various fountains, etc. There is a possibility to do a cart tour, it cost us about $60 and takes about half an hour but it will depend on each driver. Great place for a picnic plus lots of food carts.”
For its part, the 9/11 Memorial was voted by 96,593 travelers, who affirmed that it is a “must visit”, “very beautiful, you can see the history well and its location is very good”.
For tourists, the Empire State Climb, which includes a small museum explaining how it was built, is an adventure. “The view is amazing, it’s worth going up at least once,” the users of the platform considered.
