when lola (Melina Smith) loses the children she was carrying, and also loses her faith in God. In the hope of getting her back, she goes to her husband Adolfo (Jaime Llorente) to a nunnery where they meet Tin and Tina, two angelic seven-year-old brothers whom Lola feels strangely drawn to. Although Adolfo doesn’t feel the same way, they decide to adopt them. As time passes, Lola begins to fall into a spiral of suspicion and obsession with children and their macabre religious games.
