In the central province of Binh Thuan, this 23-meter-wide, 38-meter-long kite will soar into the sky and is set to become the main attraction of the Kite Festival to be organized in that district from October 22 to 29 as part of the Kite Festival. Activities of the National Year of Tourism 2023.
On the opening day of the celebration, more than a thousand kites and 10 professional kitesurfing teams are expected to compete. There will also be a display of sports cars and samples of local gastronomy and traditional culture.
If the festival is organized successfully, it will create a new sports and tourism product to offer visitors, said Huynh Ngoc Tam, deputy regional director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Binh Thuan Province’s main tourist attractions are a 192-kilometre-long coastline featuring islands, bays, bays, and beaches with white sand and clear waters.
In the first nine months of this year, more than 6.9 million tourists arrived there, four percent more than the target set for the whole of 2023, including 200,000 foreigners, a number four times higher than the number achieved in 2022.
