The International Organization for Migration (IOM) warned on Saturday that 216 million people will have to leave their homes by 2050 due to the consequences of climate change.

He always stressed that this scourge contributes to the displacement of millions of people on this planet.
In this regard, he noted that only last year, 21 million people were displaced due to natural disasters.
“COP27 is the time when the world needs to talk about human mobility caused by the impact of climate change,” he said.
No one will be safe in the future, he said, we need to reduce disaster risk, enhance resilience and adapt to this problem.
