The Ministry of Social Welfare, through the State Council for the Comprehensive Development of Indigenous Peoples of the State of Mexico (CEDIPIEM), in collaboration with the Mexican Judiciary, organized the conference 1st Thematic Forum on Multiculturalism “Traditional Medicine and Indigenous Justice”.

The event was held at the facilities of the Judicial School of the State of Mexico; the conference was attended by 300 participants from the Mazahua, Nahua, Otomi, Tlahuica, and Matlatzinca communities, as well as researchers and public officials, who reaffirmed their commitment to legal pluralism and the formalization of ancestral systems.
