Tlaxcala, Tlax, October 25, 2022. – The President of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, reported that in Tlaxcala, Nayarit, Colima and other states of the country, continuous censuses are being conducted by the federal government, with the aim of being first-level hospitals and health centers that provide care to the population Conditional and in good condition.

The federal administration purchases medical equipment with investments of billions of pesos to equip first-level units, second-level and third-level hospitals in the case of highly specialized hospitals.

The head of the Federal Executive said during his morning conference October 25, the health challenge that will strengthen the IMSS-Wellness medical system so that by the end of 2022 it is already working 100 percent in other states of Mexico.

Lopez Obrador noted that the health system is necessary to ensure the general health of all Mexicans, good, universal and free medical care, and that Mexico’s medical system can be considered one of the best in the world.
The goal is to achieve a public health system as in the countries with the best medical care in the world.

“When we are finished, we will be introducing a first-class health system with the support of health workers and many of us involved, municipal and state authorities. We have already started in three states, Nayarit, Colima and Tlaxcala, and this weekend three more states will join, Baja California Sur, Sonora and Sinaloa, so that by the end of 2022 the health system is working at 100% in six other entities, three in November and three in December, so that we have countries in the process of strengthening IMSS-Well-being,” the President said.
