Tapachula: The Rector of UNACH, Carlos Faustino Natarin Nandayapa, presented the K and M buildings of this academic unit to the Director of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, Campus IV, Luis Miguel Canseco Avila.
The expansion of the infrastructure of this college, with these buildings housing the Bachelor of Surgery students, directly benefits the more than 800 students and 40 academics, in addition to the administrative staff who make up this university community.

Addressing the audience, the University President highlighted the growth achieved by this academic unit, along with the institution, which in addition to providing training opportunities for young people, also contributes to raising the development rates in this region.
He stressed that in addition to increasing the number of students, they have also invested and worked on increasing their academic quality, so this presentation is a great representation.
In this regard, the director of the college, Luis Miguel Canseco Ávila, thanked the authorities for the management they have carried out so that these buildings belong to the Chemical Sciences, since these new works will allow an increase not only in educational spaces, but also in services and practices for students.
He stressed that due to the growth in enrollment rates, these spaces will cover the needs of the college, in addition to helping comply with the recommendations of the Mexican Council for Accreditation of Pharmaceutical Education (COMAEF), to approve the accreditation obtained in 2022. for the Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
During this visit, the President also learned first-hand about the various research projects carried out by students, accompanied by teachers, on topics ranging from chemistry and pharmacy to entrepreneurship and the environment.
As part of his tour of the city of Tapachula, University Rector Carlos Faustino Natarin Nandayapa checked on the spaces already prepared to serve the community of the College of Human Medicine “Dr. Manuel Velasco Suarez”, Campus IV.
In this regard, he emphasized the actions taken by the management of this academic unit, César Aguilar Meza, to respond to the recommendations of the evaluators of the Mexican Council for Accreditation of Medical Education (COMAEM).
During his tour of the college, he spoke to the medical and surgical degree students, whom he wished the greatest success in their training and stressed the commitment of the central administration to provide them with a good education.
