Santo Domingo.- President Louis Abenader Received on Tuesday at the National Palace British Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Moqbel Ali. Where it was announced that due to confidence in the Dominican economy, The UK government will extend the credit line to the country to £4,000m.
The British ambassador also stated that by virtue of the UK’s confidence in the Dominican Republic, its government is loyal performance of its economy In recent years, A.J Memorandum of Understanding.
He said that this memorandum of understanding will give the Dominican Republic access to Resources to implement strategic infrastructure projects, including water, public health and transportationgiving it one of the broadest country coverage in Latin America and the Caribbean with funding of up to £4,000m.
The diplomat specified that this memorandum of understanding is part of a file Wider cooperation which reflects strengthening Bilateral relations through more than 170 years of friendship, and this day reaches new heights. It will be signed at the National Palace in the coming days.
His Majesty’s Ambassador to Britain, Maqbool Ali, expressed himself thus: “The British Government is extremely proud of the unprecedented strength of this bilateral relationship, and as a result, we will be signing this Memorandum of Understanding that will, for the first time, provide up to £4 billion for the Dominican Republic to implement large-scale social and economic development projects.”
added: “This demonstrates the UK’s confidence in the Dominican government and economy as a regional leader of shared values.”
