Chessington World of Adventures has welcomed the world’s first ‘Jumanji’ themed land. Featuring exciting rides and an interactive experience, this new land represents the largest investment in theme park history.
The world of Jumanji offers visitors three exciting new attractions. The first of these is “Mandrill Mayhem,” the “Jumanji” roller coaster, which is a one-of-a-kind experience with 144 tons of steel track. At speeds of up to 42 mph, passengers find themselves upside down riding in the arms of a baboon, dodging jungle perils before rocketing to the top of the towering 55-foot structure at “The Jaguar Shrine” and then backing off the track.
In addition to the roller coaster, the new terrain features the “Ostrich Stampede,” a thrilling ride that takes guests in a circular motion as it raises and lowers them, recreating the sensation of riding an ostrich. Last but not least is the “Mamba Strike,” an attraction that takes guests into the sky before a spectacular descent in a circular motion.
The themed land also includes an interactive experience called “Jaguar’s Eye Jewel,” where guests can solve puzzles and save Jumanji as part of an ongoing series of exciting adventures. In addition, there are a variety of themed activities and a refreshment stand offering cake inspired by the movie.
To coincide with the opening of this new area, the Chessington Safari Hotel has redecorated many of its rooms to offer guests the chance to stay in six Jumanji-inspired rooms. In this way, World of Jumanji opened its doors, giving fans of the film the opportunity to delve into the exciting and dangerous world of this film. Get ready for adventure!
