LONDON, Feb. 26 (Prinsa Latina) The United Kingdom has canceled the visas of the Belarusian men’s basketball team, due to Minsk’s support for Moscow in the crisis with Ukraine, Home Secretary Priti Patel said today.
The Belarus national team was scheduled to meet its British counterpart, Sunday, in Newcastle, in a match corresponding to the World Cup qualifiers to be held in Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines in the summer of 2023.
