More details are known about the 19-year-old who wanted to attack the Queen of England on Christmas Day. The Sun published the video he sent to his friends on Snapchat minutes before climbing the castle gate where the King was having breakfast.

It was 8:06am on December 25 when the video was posted on The Sun’s website. The document shows a man wearing a white mask, and a black hoodie holding a crossbow. He says his name is Darth Jones, in reference to the “dark side of the Force” from the Star Wars saga. Behind him hangs a portrait from the movie.
His voice is distorted. He states that he will try to assassinate the Queen and that he does not believe that she will survive the attack. He wants revenge for the protesters who were killed in India in 1919 and killed by the British.
Twenty-four minutes later, armed agents pounced on him. He was arrested by security at Windsor Castle, 500 meters from Her Majesty’s private apartments, where she was having breakfast.
He managed to climb up a steep metal door using a rope ladder, but he quickly set off the alarms and was seen by the security cameras. After his arrest, he was finally admitted under the Mental Health Act.
