The President of the Republic, Dina Boulwart, met this afternoon with the ambassadors of the European Union and the United Kingdom to Peru, who expressed their countries’ support for the constitutional government she presides over.
The meeting, which took place in the Golden Hall of the Government Palace, In the presence of the Minister of External Relations, Anna Cecilia Gervasi.
The meeting was attended by the ambassadors of Spain, the Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, Portugal, Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
After the meeting, Foreign Minister Gervasi reported that the diplomats had expressed their support for the constitutional president.
previously, Chief Polwart met with Igor GaravulichResident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Peru.
Garavulich said, on behalf of the UN Secretary-General, that he assured the Peruvian president that the work of the twenty agencies of this world organization is at the disposal of the country’s development, and renewed his support for the constitutional government.
