The Government of the United Kingdom, through the Skills for Prosperity Mexico initiative (SFPMx), has recognized the Universidad Tecnológica de la Tarahumara (UTT), as one of the educational institutions in the country with full work on employment and school equality issues.
The aforementioned during the working days to wrap up the UK Government’s Skills for Prosperity program in Mexico, where UTT’s Chief of Communication, Angela María Becerra Diaz, and Gender and Equality Officer, Sarah Bustillos Ontiveros.
During the event in Mexico City, Sarah Bustillos, who proudly represents the Ralámuli ethnic group, participated as a speaker at said conferences and announced the work carried out at UT de la Tarahumara focusing on the search for fairness and equality in work, as well as equality among students.
Prosperity Skills Mexico has highlighted and publicly acknowledged the great initiatives that have been worked on in the educational institution to advance issues of fairness and equality, by working in inclusive language within its common themes and spaces, as an opportunity and enhancement to the curriculum for the student of the community.
It should be noted that the SFPMx initiative aims to increase the number of young people with technical and vocational skills for employment in strategic sectors through employment training programs with a regional group approach, linked to employability and productive occupations.
