What is Sobasil?
First TV series of Rapman Set in modern-day South London, the film follows a group of five ordinary black people with a family history of sickle cell anemia. Suddenly, they develop superpowers and are pursued by a secret organization seeking to control them.
Supacell was created by Rapman, director of Blue Story, and directed by Sebastian Thiel. It stars Tosin Cole, Jessica Magai, Ricardo McCleary Campbell, Sarafina Mathis, Melissa Simone Hartman, Cleo Young, Michael Ademilwa.who are part of the Supacell Six group.
Mark Hedges is the series producer for Supacell and Sheila Nortley is the producer and co-producer for Block2. Geraldine Hawkins is the co-producer. Rapman is the executive producer alongside Anna Ferguson and Steve Searle for Netflix. Mukhtar Mohammed of the band New Wave is also the executive producer. Her colleague Henrietta Lee is the co-producer.
