Spanish group Umbrella enters the UK with a battery-powered solar project – pv Spain Magazine

Solar photovoltaic array Solar energy investment umbrella It obtained the permits, permits and licenses for its first UK project, called the Patrickston Project, located around the city of Stirling, located one hour northwest of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Patrickston project will consist of a 20 megawatt solar field and support for lithium-ion batteries. The company did not disclose the capacity of the storage project.

Patrickstone is part of a 285 MW portfolio of projects the company is developing in the UK, as part of its investment strategy in photovoltaic infrastructures in its IPP (Independent Power Producer) business model.

The construction and maintenance of all projects will be the responsibility of IM2 Energía Solar, a group company specializing in the construction and maintenance of solar infrastructures, with presence in Spain and Chile.
