Spain has been ranked as the country most likely to travel in the coming months, according to Klarna’s survey of 9,000 people from eight countries, with 77% of Spanish respondents saying they prefer to travel after the summer.
After Spain, Norway and the United Kingdom closed the “top three” who have more desire to travel in the coming months. It is followed by Sweden (62%), Denmark (61%), the United States (60%), Australia (57%) and Finland (57%).
In addition, 61% of Spaniards indicated that they would visit domestic destinations and stay in Spain on their vacation, compared to those with other countries and cultures in their plans, which shows a change in the leisure and travel experience.
Among the main drivers of travel is the ability to break away from routine, as part of the current trend focused on personal well-being. For this reason, those surveyed highlighted that outdoor activities are the ones they will be carrying out more in the coming months as a way to disconnect.
Thus, 55% of Spaniards assert that they will do more outdoor activities than last year, with Spain being the second country among all those surveyed, after the United States.
On the other hand, of all the countries surveyed, Spaniards proved to be the most organized before taking a trip, with 78% of them confirming that they had already planned, organized or investigated the trip before reaching their destination.
After the Spaniards, the English (71%) and Americans (70%) were the most planners. In contrast, the Finns (60%) are the least inclined to organize excursions in advance.
