Santiago de Chile, October 11 (EFE). – Chilean President Gabriel Borek received South Korean Prime Minister Han Duk-soo, this Tuesday, as part of his official visit to the South American country with the aim of: strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, after 60 years of the anniversary of diplomatic relations.
According to the Chilean authorities, after the official meeting between the representatives and their delegations, the two countries agreed to sign three Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) allowing them to work together.
The first, between the Korea Mining and Mineral Resources Rehabilitation Corporation and the National Mining Corporation (Enami) on cooperation for sustainable mining and the mineral resources value chain; The second: establishing a democratic dialogue between the two governments that allows for the exchange of development experiences and knowledge in various fields.
The third MoU was signed by the Agricultural Research Institute (INIA), of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Rural Development Administration (RDA) of the South Korean government, to establish cooperation mechanisms in agricultural science, research and agricultural technology development.
Through these tools, the two countries will seek to strengthen their joint work in strategic areas such as mining, agriculture and democracy. EFE
