Social science specialists analyze the 2023 elections at a conference at the University of Valencia

Shire. The Social Sciences Media Association, in collaboration with the Language and Language Policy Department of the University of Valencia, organized the 2023 Election Debate: A View from the Social Sciences for December 13, at 6:30 pm, in the meeting room of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the same university.

The round table is preceded by the presentation of “El CIS Valenciano”, an analysis of secondary data that is carried out periodically by La Comarca Científica and which Idoia Arreaza, professor of political science and member of the association, will present to the audience before starting the debate.

As explained by Alexis Lara, president of the association, the day “intends to give a comprehensive vision and perspective to Valencia for the election year”. In addition, the sociologist maintains that it is a discussion “far removed from political arguments and editorial lines” and that the aim of the act is, after all, “to deepen the analysis of social trends in electoral behavior in Valencia”.
