The Sky Princess cruise ship, MedallionClass, has departed after 17 months without passengers, to begin its summer Seacations season and mark the ship’s first departure from the UK with guests.
After sailing from Puerto de Southampton, The ship becomes the third unit in the fleet Princess Journeys To return to service since the company voluntarily halted operations in March 2020. Sky Princess has joined its sister ship, the Regal Princess, to sail across Britain on a series of resident cruises called Seacations. Until October 5, the ship will visit cities such as Liverpool, Greenock, Belfast and Portland.
Sky Princess has joined the fleet Princess Journeys Launched in October 2019 and features a number of new features, including the Take Five Jazz Bar, French Bistro La Sur Mer, WakeView Bar and Pool Bar, and two Sky Suites, which have the largest balconies to the sea and offer 270-degree panoramic views.
