Loma Bonita, Oxa. – On the instructions of the Secretary General of the Government, Francisco Javier García López, Segego’s representative in Tuxtepec, Juan Ventura Lara, has moved to Loma Bonita to set up a dialogue table with the authorities of the Federal Government, the legal representative and workers of the construction company “Transformadora Costa Maya” SA de CV
The above, following the conflict that prevailed among the workers of the construction company “Transformadora Costa Maya” SA de CV, was caused by the lack of payments and employment benefits for the construction and redesign of the ISSSTE Family Medicine Unit in Loma Bonita.
It should be noted that on February 22 this year, the workers who worked on the construction and remodeling of the ISSSTE Family Medicine Unit began to stop work and received the facilities due to non-payment of wages and benefits from the company responsible for the work.
Similarly, on March 19, 2021, during the working tour of the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, accompanied by the Governor of the State, Alejandro Murad Hinojosa, in Loma Bonita, they were approached by a group of 27 workers from the construction, who expressed his differences with the construction company hired by the Institute Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), at the time of Segego government agent employees, pay attention to a group of non-conformists.
In this sense, Benito Gonzalez Gómez and Francisco Valadez López, representatives of the construction workers, stated at the dialogue table that the construction company “Transformadora Costa Maya” SA de CV, through its legal representative, had complied with the payment. Wages and benefits claimed from workers, ending the labor problem.
At the end of the dialogue table, a minute of agreements was signed and the facilities of the ISSSTE Family Medicine Unit in Loma Bonita, which were not damaged, were handed over.
Sego urged the workers and the construction company to prefer dialogue in resolving their disputes so as not to delay work and to be able to provide health services as quickly as possible to the beneficiaries.
For his part, Jose Antonio Aguilar Peña, the legal representative of the construction company, stated that he would not take any legal action against the workers for taking over the facilities; Likewise, they were asked to return the work to complete the work as quickly as possible.
