To have a chance to catch Sawk, you must log into Pokemon Go during the Furious Battles event. This event continues from Friday, January 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. until Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 8 p.m. local time.

During this time, Sawk and Throh appear frequently in the wild, no matter your area. Furious Battles also marks the Pokémon Go debut of Annihilape, the final evolution of Mankey.

Yes, Pokémon Go players can catch the shiny version of Sawk. So, you may find one in the wild during the Raging Battles event. You also have a chance to find Throh's Shiny form.
