This isn’t the first time British chef Gordon Ramsay has been criticized for his controversial videos. This time it was PETA, a recognized environmental association that responded to this situation.
Gordon Ramsay, a famous British chef and culinary presenter, posted a video on his personal TikTok account in which he selects a lamb to be cooked. The fact, in addition to being criticized by some followers on social networks, was rejected by PETA, an international pro-animal rights organization.
The animal rights group, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has opposed the controversy involving Gordon Ramsay, the famous British chef.
It turns out that the celebrity, of Scottish origin, was criticized for a video clip on social networks in which he mocks a group of lambs, before choosing one to cook.
Gordon Ramsay, star of the popular cooking show “Hell’s Kitchen,” posted a video on his personal TikTok account in which he enters a pen with baby lambs, to choose one to cook.
On the record, which has more than 11 million views, the chef sings and appears to make fun of animals, before choosing the right one. The latter caused annoyance to some of his followers on social networks, but also from the international organization, PETA.
“Gordon Ramsay is an insensitive man who makes a fool of himself,” PETA UK Vice President Elisa Allen said in a statement sent to Insider. “Bullying cute lambs is rude and not fun,” he added.
The non-profit animal rights organization called on the five Ramsey children to “disown” him. “The funny thing is that his children became vegetarians and disavowed him in the same way that Elon Musk’s daughter disavowed her father,” the statement continued.
He concluded by saying, “These lambs are just children who want a little life, but the opportunity to live it and not end up in the mouth of this idiot or anyone else.”
