Sports Writing, Aug. 10 (EFE). – Riccardo Ten of Valencia won the gold medal in the individual time trial of the C1 category at the Adaptive Track Cycling World Championships which, along with many other disciplines, is being held in the Scottish city of Glasgow (UK).
This Thursday is the fourth gold medal for the Valencia player, who in the previous days added three on the track, in Scratch, Omnium and Team Speed.
This time Ten (Valencia, 1975), with a time of 25 minutes and 4 seconds to complete 16.8 kilometers of the road, beat his rivals from start to finish, among them the German Michael Teuber in second place by 6 seconds, after finally cutting the 14 he gave up in the middle way, and American Aaron Keith is third and 45 seconds away.
In addition to this new gold medal for the team star, Spain achieved three more final positions in the morning session of the second day of the modified cycling road events.
Also in the individual time trial, 2022 champion Eduardo Santas finished eighth in the C3 class, Maurice Farr-Eckhard Teo and Luis Javier Arcega fifth and eighth in C2. All of them are from the first to the finish line and until the last of them arrive, those who receive medals. EFE
