The film “Riados 75” was selected to participate in the Football Film Festival and participate in the Golden Whistle Award in New York.
The club’s feature film, directed by Fernando Calif of Monterrey, was selected along with three other films to screen at the event.
Festival director and co-founder Rachel Marcus explained that since they noticed this work, they knew she would be one of those who would end up being chosen.
“Fernando’s movie caught my attention from the start. He was very creative in his way of telling. He made it clear that football isn’t just about the players, it’s about the fans, the community, the pride of the club and its legacy. He sparked it amazingly in this movie,” he said in an interview with the Foundation.
This tape talks about the years of the foundation’s life and was a way to celebrate the 75th anniversary that occurred during the year 2020.
It will be shown on October 14 at the Scandinava House in New York, USA and will compete with the following productions:
– End of the Storm (Diretzion: James Erskine, Renault Unido).
Supermodel: The story of the legendary ultra fashion (Dirección: Mick Kelly, Reino Unido).
