Action cars and stunts specialists from the new James Bond movie have taken on the most powerful Land Rovers ever. A new video gives a glimpse into the high-speed action as the team explains why the Range Rover SVR is perfect for the task.
The chase sequence puts the high-performance luxury SUV at the center of the action, led by Chris Corbould, Special Effects and Motion Supervisor on Academy Award-winning vehicles, and stunts coordinator Lee Morrison.
Lee Morrison, Stunt coordinator, said: “I really wanted to film the Bond chase series on the road, in a really challenging environment, and the Range Rover Sport SVR was the perfect choice for this part of the story. We filmed everything for real, so we pushed it to the limit. We promised that the research would be one of the most memorable moments in the film.”

The Range Rover Sport SVR takes luxury performance to new heights with improved driving dynamics and a powerful 575hp Supercharged V8 engine, making it the perfect choice for the job. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds) and has a top speed of 283 km/h (176 mph), making it the fastest Land Rover ever.
The SVRs used on No Time To Die feature the same specially tuned suspension as the production models that Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations engineers devised to provide more responsive handling and tighter body control without compromising comfort.
A pair of Eiger Gray models are equipped with 22-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels and the optional Carbon Package, which includes glossy carbon-fiber front air vents, lower fender intakes, grille and mirrors. The optional lightweight carbon-fiber SVR hood features a body-color finish in No Time To Die, but can also be specified with an exposed carbon-fiber section.

The Range Rover, the original luxury SUV, made its world debut in 1970. Since then, the family has grown to include Range Rover Sport, Evoque and Velar. No Time To Die will also feature a Range Rover Classic with three defenders and a Class 3 Land Rover.
Land Rover has a long-standing relationship with EON Productions and James Bond Films, beginning in 1983 when the Range Rover Convertible debuted in Octopussy. Most recently, in 2015, the Range Rover Sport starred in important action sequences in SPECTER.
No Time To Die directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig who returns for the fifth and final time as James Bond 007 by Ian Fleming. The film will be shown in theaters from 30 September 2021 in the United Kingdom through Universal Pictures International and in the United States on 8 October 2021, from Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) through its United Artists banner.
