Havana, July 20 (RHC)– Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez affirmed on Saturday his country’s support for the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital and the pre-1967 borders.

Through the social network Palestinians illegally occupy.

The previous day, the UN’s highest court had ruled that the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory was illegal and inconsistent with the people’s right to self-determination.

He also considered that Israel must immediately stop new settlement activities, evacuate all settlers from the occupied territories, and repeal all laws and measures that create or maintain the illegal situation.

He pointed out that the legislation and measures taken by Tel Aviv constitute a violation of Article 3 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and Apartheid.

The judges called on all UN member states, among other actions, not to recognize the changes on the ground, refrain from providing assistance to the Zionist government in maintaining this illegal presence, and distinguish between Israel and the occupied territories. (fountain: Latin press)
