These scientists have been recognized for their significant contributions in diverse fields, From the spread of infectious diseases to plant adaptation to harsh environmentsPassing through the complexity of oceanic nutrient cycles and understanding cellular signaling networks, as well as the interrelationship between Brain biology and human emotions.

In celebration of this important event, the Council decided to EMBO invited members to nominate and elect 100 new members and 20 associate members.Those selected come from 37 countries or territories, reflecting the diversity and global reach of cutting-edge biological research. The new EMBO Members come from 24 Member States of EMBC, the intergovernmental organisation that funds EMBO’s core programmes and activities. The 20 new Associate Members represent 13 different countries or territories, including EMBO’s global collaboration partners.
