Another week, here we bring you the list of best selling games for the past 7 days United kingdom. In this case, the information refers to The week that ended on Sunday.
In the list, we see that Pokémon scarlet and purple Debuted in first place. In addition, it has broken several sales records, as you can see below (only information on actual sales in the UK):
- It was the game with the best initial sales so far in 2022, surpassing FIFA 23, which set that record, with 4% higher sales than it.
- It is the second best Pokémon launch in the country, bested only by Pokémon Sun and Moon. However, Pokémon Scarlet and Purple made more money on its UK release than it did on the 3DS version.
- Pokémon Purple was the best-selling version with 52% of all copies, Scarlet 42% and the dual version 6%.
- This batch sold 36% more than Pokémon Sword and Shield, 70% more than the Diamond and Pearl remake and 56% more than Pokémon Legends: Arceus
- Nintendo Switch sales are up 62% this week, with the OLED model leading the way
- It’s the week with the most Nintendo Switch hardware sold so far in 2022 in the UK
