To prove their quality, eight students from the US University School of Medicine received the CENEVAL Award for Outstanding Performance (EGEL).

In concrete facts, the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS) demonstrates the educational quality with which the thousands of students who study there are trained, which is why in the recent results obtained in the General Exit Examination (EGEL), eight students have received the CENEVAL Award for outstanding EGEL performance, examples of which are the young doctor Miriam Beatriz Corrales Inzunza, highlighted by Luis Alberto González García.

“For us, it represents success, this success means that our daily work at the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa has its fruits and that they are high quality fruits. This year there were about 8 students who took the National Knowledge Exam to obtain their title as general practitioners, who managed to be within that elite percentage, which was 1.7% of all those who took it at the national level, he wants to say that we have students who, he stressed, came out very well prepared and very well trained.

The Director of the Faculty of Medicine at the Arab League pointed out that these results at the national level are a reliable example of the commitment of the institution, as its primary function is to train people in the health field who will serve and care for the community, noting that it is no coincidence that year after year very good results are obtained in the EGEL results, and if the person is not in the elite group, they also obtain very satisfactory results.

For her part, Miriam Beatriz Corrales Inzunza said she was very happy and proud of this result obtained, a recognition that was recently granted in the city of Querétaro at the Convention Center.

“For me, it is a major pride to represent our university in this very important programme which is CENEVAL, for me it was really something surprising but very enjoyable, in addition to representing with other colleagues, it is very nice, it is very unique and the experience of participating with other people from other countries, from other cultures, is very enriching.

Likewise, the young doctor who today also does her social service said that although this is an acknowledgment of her efforts in the classroom to learn well, it is also a commitment to serve the population with ethics, humanity and quality.

“In fact, this award that they have given us, the pistol, has a symbol that means the unity that we form, students, families, institution and community, but it also puts us at the point of commitment to this same community,” he concluded. “We are called to be people with the right performance, with the abilities that enable them to exercise this very dignified profession and, above all, with a lot of humanity.”
