The Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi, through the Faculty of Information Sciences, extends a wake-up call to upper secondary students to get acquainted with the educational offer taught in the academic entity. The event will be held next Friday, February 24 of this year, at the college facilities.
The main objective of the Open Doors Day is to introduce to those interested the two academic programs taught at FCI, such as Information Management and Document and Archive Management, so that they can learn more about this offer. Professional development for information professionals.
About the event, alumnus Sarah Sanchez, Head of Communications at the Institute, highlighted the focus of the degrees being taught, “As new spaces are opened every day for our graduates jobs in public institutions, information addresses, and their skills are in demand in notaries, law firms, and districts Today, all the information they process is what they are responsible for cataloging, classifying and positioning in order to make better decisions.
The “Open Doors Day” will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and it includes an information session about the two educational programs, and a talk with teacher Gina Lopez, a graduate of the institute, who will share her professional experience, participating in three workshops, such as the classification workshop Documentary, digitization workshop, conservation and restoration workshop.
