Likewise, the first vice president of the ruling United Socialist Party, Diosdado Cabello, asserted that the experiences of those days represented “the essence of the Bolivarian Revolution, a civil-military union, love, dignity, courage and morality to stay free.”

For his part, Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino indicated that those who led this overthrow underestimated the political power of the late president and the “will” of the Venezuelan people.

And he emphasized on the same social network: “After 21 years, they underestimate the foundations of our revolution, the will of our people, the civil-military union, true leadership and peace as currency.”

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Ivan Gil published a message in which he affirmed that Venezuela “will continue to fight for its right to build a sovereign and deeply socialist political and economic model.”

This Thursday, Chavismo supporters are set to take action to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Chávez’s return to the presidency.

Today, Monday, in a press conference, Capello explained that the agenda for celebrating these events includes several activities, including conferences, forums, seminars, and conferences on the events of April 11, 12, and 13.
