Netflix has made concerted efforts to enter the mobile gaming space in recent years, but the company has also expressed its intention to bring Netflix games to platforms other than iOS and Android through cloud gaming. Last week, a mobile game console app for Netflix appeared in the iOS App Store, indicating that an announcement regarding Netflix games on TV was imminent. Now, in a blog post dated August 14, Netflix has confirmed that it is holding limited betas to test the waters of Netflix games on TV, PC, and Mac.

Starting today, some Netflix subscribers in Canada and the UK will be able to access a limited beta of Netflix games on TV. Initially, Amazon, Chromecast, LG, Nvidia Sheild, Roku, Samsung, and Walmart TVs will support Netflix games, with more being added on an ongoing basis. In the coming weeks, Netflix.com will also begin allowing subscribers in those regions to play games through a browser on both PCs and Macs.
