New Nintendo Switch sales data was shared today. We have the company's latest financial results after some initial indicators.

- Software sales during the nine months ending December 31, 2023:
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder: 11.96 million units.
- The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom Tears: 20.28 million units.
- Pikmin 4: 3.33 million units.
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 6.79 million units (cumulative total: 60.58 million units).
- Total number of titles sold: 24 million during this period, including titles from other software publishers.
- Nintendo Switch sales:
- Hardware sales: 13.74 million units (7.8% YoY decrease).
- Software sales: 163.95 million units (decrease 4.7% year-on-year).
- Digital Business:
- Digital sales: 346.4 billion yen (11.7% increase year-on-year).
- Sales related to Nintendo Switch Online have increased.
- Business related to mobile phones and intellectual property:
- Total sales: 75.2 billion yen (up 93.4% year-on-year).
- Driven by revenues related to the Super Mario Bros. movie.
- Total sales and profits:
- Total sales: 1,394.7 billion yen.
- Sales outside Japan: 1,097.5 billion yen (78.7% of total).
- Operating profit: 464.4 billion yen.
- Ordinary profit: 567.3 billion yen.
- Profit attributable to owners of the parent company: 408.0 billion yen.
- Future goals and strategies:
- Maintain the appeal of the Nintendo Switch, aiming for multiple systems in every home.
- Continue launching new offers to maximize device sales.
- Planning software releases, including Mario vs. Donkey Kong in February and Princess Peach: Showtime in March.
- Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass – Sidequest, the second wave of additional content, will arrive in February.
- Working to revitalize the platform with new titles and complementary content on an ongoing basis.
