Hurricane Ida left New York City amid flooding and devastation. The torrential and persistent rains have killed at least nine people in that cosmopolitan American city, including a two-year-old.
Videos have also flooded social networks and testify to the devastating images, which some have compared to the movie, which, ironically, was shot in the same city: the day after tomorrow (2004).
