The 2024 preparatory course for the National Examination for Medical Residencies (ENARM) of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (UASLP) has been updated for the benefit of doctors who seek to continue their training in one of the specialties.
It is worth noting that this intensive course is considered one of the best and most popular courses at the national level, due to the large number of applicants who have achieved the goal of qualifying for ENARM. People from all over Mexico compete in this exam to obtain a place and receive specific instructions in one of the medical specialties.
In this regard, Dr. Maribel Martínez Díaz, Secretary General of the Faculty of Medicine, highlighted the academic entity’s commitment to providing high-quality preparation for both its students and graduates of other institutions.
He stated that this course will be held from August 5 to September 7, 2024, in person from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm; while activities in the afternoon will be implemented on a digital platform, including simulators and access to clinical practice guides.
In addition to preparing students, in-depth knowledge is provided based on clinical practice evidence, which is the official standard for decision-making in the field, and which is invaluable for their professional training. “We are trying to answer a very specific and clear test that serves as training,” he commented. To do this, renowned teachers in specialties such as: psychiatry, gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, internal medicine, to name a few, will be involved.
He pointed out that the last date for registration is Monday, July 15, and that there is no specific grade required. It is sufficient to graduate from a surgical medicine degree and have a desire to train in the specialty. Dr. Martínez Díaz highlighted the importance of the ENARM course not only for UASLP graduates, but also for graduates of other national and international universities.
