Yesterday the mobilization and protests in the schools of the National Polytechnic (IPN) continued, with an alleged attempt by parents to restore the idle high school campus facilities, as well as with the beginning of the takeovers of the new campus. Marches and gatherings.

According to sources close to the case, yesterday, a group of parents and police officials tried to enter the Center for Scientific and Technological Studies (Cecyt) 10, to end the indefinite strike, which led to conflicts and some strikes. Yesterday, students from the National School of Biological Sciences – unemployed since August 22 – marched towards the General Directorate of the Polytechnic to ask the head of the organization, Arturo Reyes Sandoval, to resolve their demands.

On the other hand, the student assembly of the Higher School of Economics also announced the suspension of academic activities, without specifying whether it would be for 24 or 48 hours, and the community of the Higher School of Engineering and Architecture, Zakatenko Unit, decided to strike for 48 hours.

Likewise, meetings were held yesterday in different schools: in Esime Azcapotzalco and Cecyt 3, to determine their petition, and in the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit of Engineering, Social and Management Sciences, to analyze the appointment of the new principal of the school.
