The tweet indicates that the Quito citizen will continue his recovery process in a British health facility “under the care of a specialized team of doctors.”

The young pilot had to be transported by helicopter from the city of Spa to the Chow Hospital in Liège, where he underwent surgery for fractures in his legs and a minor spinal injury. There he was admitted to the operating room and underwent a successful surgery on Sunday.
