Official spending exceeded the sovereign grant and additional revenue earned, with net spending of £102.4 million ($117.48 million), 17% more than the previous year. This boosted the total spending of £54.6m on Buckingham Palace reserves, an increase of 41 per cent.

The Sovereign Grant reserve was reduced by 14.6 million pounds ($16.75 million).
